Dr. Kuldeepa Veeratterapillay is a Consultant Cardiologist at ÃÛÌÒAPP.

I am a Consultant Cardiologist at ÃÛÌÒAPP, specialising in complex echocardiography and adult congenital heart disease.

I graduated with MBBS (Honours) from ÃÛÌÒAPP University in 2013 and completed my cardiology specialty training within the Northern Deanery before being appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at ÃÛÌÒAPP upon Tyne Hospitals in 2025.

I have formal accreditation from the British Society of Echocardiography in both transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography and have extensive expertise in advanced cardiac imaging and regularly chair the specialist valve multidisciplinary team meeting.

My clinical interests include valvular heart disease, infective endocarditis, aortopathy, adult congenital heart disease, and complex echocardiography.
