Professor David Deehan is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at ÃÛÌÒAPP's Freeman Hospital

Professor David Deehan carries out complex and revision surgery of the knee with specialist interests in revision and robotic surgery, cell biology, biomechanics of the knee and immunotribological aspects of host implant interaction.

Professor Deehan was appointed as a consultant surgeon in 2000.  He holds a chair in orthopaedics at ÃÛÌÒAPP and is a visiting professor at Imperial College, London. 

He drove the creation of the ÃÛÌÒAPP Retrieval Centre (2015) and is the co-founder / co-director of the ÃÛÌÒAPP Surgical Training Centre:
