Our team is here to help you receive your treatment safely, while supporting you to spend as much time as possible at home when this is appropriate.
We provide:
- Treatment at home: We can support and monitor some patients while they receive their cancer treatment at home using a special portable pump or device.
- Stem cell conditioning treatment : We provide some chemotherapy treatments needed before a stem cell transplant, allowing suitable patients to receive this treatment as an outpatient.
- Stem cell transplants: We care for patients with myeloma who are having their own stem cells returned to them following high-dose treatment.
- Close monitoring and specialist support: We care for patients who need extra monitoring or specialist nursing support during their treatment.
- Supportive treatments: We provide treatments and care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
- Early discharge: Where it is safe and suitable, we help patients leave hospital earlier while continuing to provide the care and support they need.
We are a specialist team providing innovative cancer care in a friendly and supportive environment. Our team includes eight nurses and one healthcare assistant.
Refreshments are available for patients and carers.
